The chainrings with the "mod" in their variant name are modified. The bolt holes are machined. This modification allows for the chainring nuts to go deeper into the bolt holes. It is compatible with our TSDZ2B 104BCD chainring adapter. The original chainring bolts can be too long when used without the chainring cover. Spacers or shorter bolts are required in that case.
Chainrings without the "mod" in their variant name are compatible with our TSDZ2 104BCD chainring adapter or any other 104BCD adapter.
